Incoming Students - General Information
All students selected to pursue a Socrates/Erasmus Exchange in Malta are kindly asked to read and follow these important steps:
Application Procedures
Students are to send the following documents:
1. The original Enrolment Form and Health Form together with the three (3) original passport size photos (the health form must be signed and stamped by a Medical doctor)
There are different Health Forms for IHC students, Pharmacy Students and Students taking Medicine and Surgery. These forms may be downloaded from our website
2. A photocopy of your passport/identity card
3. The important information form can be sent once you have all the details
4. Copies of your European Health Insurance Card
(EHIC) and copies of your Travel Insurance
Students are requested to take out a Travel Insurance that covers items not covered by the EHIC, such as: personal belongings, health services not covered by the EHIC, evacuation and repatriation
5. For all students (except British native speakers) a declaration from the Socrates/Erasmus coordinator stating that the nominated student has a good command of the English language, is able to write assignments in English and is able to follow lectures in English with profit
It is imperative that students send all the above mentioned forms and documents (ie the Enrolment Form, Health Form, Important Information Form, 3 passport photos, together with copies of the European Health Insurance Card and Travel Insurance)
Students' acceptance is conditional to the acceptance from the European Unit and is also conditional to the receipt of all the required forms/documents in original format

Language of Instruction
The Language of instruction at the University of Malta is in English, and students are expected to be fluent in the English language. No particular concessions are allowed to students whose level of English is lower than expected.
